Founded in 1997, Ethos Maldives began as a cornerstone of the Maldives' inbound travel industry. Over more than two decades, we built deep relationships with international partners, earned a reputation for reliability, and laid the operational foundations of a resilient enterprise.
The global pandemic in 2020 prompted a strategic shift in our business. In response to the changing needs of the Maldives, Ethos Maldives expanded into importing and distributing automobile spare parts, motorcycle and car tyres, and clean mobility solutions. Today we are a trusted supplier of tyres, electric scooters and EV batteries in the Maldives.

Steady growth in the tourism sector, building strong international partnerships and a trusted brand reputation.

The pivot
COVID-19 disrupts global travel. Ethos Maldives changes strategy and identifies new opportunities in import and distribution.
- 2021–2022
Automobile division
Launches the automobile division, importing car tyres, motorcycle tyres and spare parts for the local market.
- 2023–Present
Electric mobility
Expands into electric mobility, importing and distributing electric scooters and EV batteries and championing sustainable transport nationwide.

EVs on every inhabited island
Our long-term goal is to expand EV access to all inhabited islands of the Maldives, contributing to a fossil-fuel-free future.

Auto Care
Our automobile and electric mobility business, launched in 2021. Auto Care imports and distributes motorcycle and car tyres, spare parts, lubricants, electric scooters and EV batteries. Customers can order online and have orders delivered.

Yasanza
Yasanza supplies hotels, resorts and guesthouses with guest amenities, including bulk shampoo, shower gel and body lotion, dental kits, soap and paper products.
